I have a new Diawa SV TW (couldn't pass up the price). I want to put it on a Med Heavy, Mod Fast rod that I have. I want to primarily for top water stuff. I have some Yo-Zuri 40lb braid. I was going to use that and maybe a 20lb mono leader for top water and some swim jigs (I'm obsessed with jig fishing right now....LOL). Does that seem like a plausible setup? Should I just forget the leader and direct tie for top water? Flouro leader for jigs? I'm probably way over thinking this.

My wife and I are going to the Davenport Florida in the middle of January. We're taking our boat with us and want to do some fishing. Which lake(s) would be best? I've read that Toho is great for bass. I've also heard they have water level issues on Toho. So what are some other places to go within an hour or so of the Davenport area?
