I have been an ABU fan since the inception of Revo......I purchased 2 Gen 5 STX's to test.... Both placed on chatterbait rods to put through the paces. There are vast improvements to the STX line over all previous generations..... Easier palmablity, yet still with a wide / deep spool, and ultra smooth operation. New 90mm handle and redisigned paddles add comfort, control and power to the reel. IVCL-6L improves castability and distance..... This is not a light reel... but balances well with my Dobyns rods....Durability and functionality is the key for me and feel that it is deal at this price point.... Due to the positive results, I have just ordered two new Gen 5 SX's...... Im sure I will equally impressed...
