  1. I live in California and my dad is old school and says we must keep a paddle in our bass boat. But I can’t find any law or regulation that states that now ? Is this true ?
  2. I have 3 of these rods and absolutely love them. My main use for it is a powershot around grass. (Dropshot on a baitcaster). I usually have 2 setup for dropshot at all times, with different weights on them for fishing deeper and shallower. Or for when the grass is thicker and I need to get through it easier. I fish the ca delta a lot and I dropshot with this ALOT and for me it works great. I use straight 14lb fluorocarbon without issues. Super sensitive. My next use for it is for soft jerkbaits. 20-30lb braid to 10lb-12lb fluorocarbon leader. And then I will also use it for smaller weightless plastics too sometimes. Same line as stated above for soft jerkbaits. You can also use straight 12-14lb fluorocarbon line for the soft jerkbaits and the weightless plastics too if you wanted to. Just personal preference

  4. Also probably the biggest difference between the jdm models vs the usdm(USA) models is that you can not do any warranty work with jdm models daiwa does not honor them. Daiwa will only do warranty work on usdm models. So yes jdm models are cheaper. But if something happens to it you can not get warranty work done by daiwa
