  2. Just traveled to Northern Manitoba to go Northern Pike fishing. Had an awesome trip and spent solid money on buying what i thought were the best leaders in the market today. Terminator wire leaders in 24 inches 75 pound strength, at a cost of $23.99 each. While the leader itself stayed in pretty great shape, the touch lock snap kept opening. Unfortunately, this led to me losing multiple brand new baits. Northern Pike are ferocious, and they've got a lot of teeth so it's understandable that it might happen. Just trying to find a work around or new leader to ease the frustration of tossing brand new lures away. Basically the snap lock would open up and either the fish would twist it off of the open snap or on a future cast the lure would simply fall off the open leader. Can anyone suggest a way to remedy this situation? Thanks in advance for your help!
