    Well I settled on a Phenix feather 7-7 heavy. So far I'm very impressed. Very light and incredibly sensitive. Maybe a little light for pads and punching but perfect flipping and pitching more open water. May order a xh when the cash flow allows lol. Thanks for the replies.

    Been a few years since I've updated my flipping rod. Have a few different brands and have them balanced with handle weights. I know alot of the newer rods are lighter but would like to find one that's balanced without weights. Can anyone help me out? Thanks in advance
