  1. Who owns this jon boat?

    Top of the morning fishing fiends, I just acquired a jon boat that I'm unable to obtain much information about. Do any of you guys own a Bayou jon made by Lowe Industries? I am trying to learn the age of the boat. It's in great condition but obviously it's a much older jon boat because I can't find any info on it. It's 14' in length and 48 inch beam. I bought it for stealth, secret pond locations for my son and I. It really is a neat boat. I just wish I could learn more about it. I found the Lowe history site and it doesn't mention this style. It is much like the Lake jon by Lowe which is in current use. I hope you can provide me with some info and possibly you own one yourself and would like to tell me your experiences with the Bayou jon.
