  1. braided line fraying every session?

    I have this same issue with my braided line. I just noticed the fraying when I respooled with new (300)yd spool of spiderwire 6lb diameter I purchased from Walmart. I was guessing the protecting coating on the particular spool was defective since the fraying occurred on all the reels I respooled. This hasn't happened before and I was just guessing the line was a bad lot. Like others, the line started fraying after a few days casting. I'm going to check my rod guides and my reels closely this time.
