  1. Thanks for the help guys. I took it out about 10 days ago. Unit ran fine. I was there for 6 hrs., no issues. I don't think I could last any longer than 6-7 hrs. myself.
  2. MN Fisher. Thank you. That helps alot.
  3. No help huh? I think I've got the wiring figured out, and my current battery will run it. At 12v .67a, how long will a 12v 7ah run it before the battery dies?
  4. I just bought a Garmin vivid striker 4 7 sv, I was using a Garmin striker 4 pt. I don't know much about wiring fish finders. The striker 4 was easy, this one has alot of extra wires and one more input in the back. I'm using it as a stand alone unit. It seems like I can use the power harness from my striker 4 (it does turn on with it). I see that slot. The transducer has a big connector on it, it came with what looks like an adapter that would fit the big connector, that splits into two smaller connectors which seem would fit the other two inputs (looks like 1 is sv/cv and other is down imaging(xd slot). Can anybody tell me if that seems correct? Also need to see if anyone can tell me any concerns with using my current battery. The old unit specs were 12v .1xx a 1 a max, the new unit is 12v .67a 1.5 a max. The battery is a 12v 7ah rechargable. I am using these on boats that I rent.
