  1. It is making the humming noise like you said. I also feel it being consistently "bumpy". Would I be able to see if there is an issue with the gears. I have checked bearings and don't see any problem with them.
  2. I do have a 7:1. And where would I be able to buy new gears at? I also have looked at the gears and don't see anything wrong with them. Would I be able to notice if they were bad?

  4. I have a daiwa tatula elite baitcasting reel. I have had it for about three months. About after a month and a half I started to hear some noise. I have taken it apart cleaned it and greased it multiple times (with reel butter grease). I am almost certain it is the pinion and main gear. I can feel it when I am reeling and it is also somewhat loud. The faster I real the more it becomes noticable. I know people say that it is how daiwa reels can be but it wasn't like this new. Does anyone have a fix to quite the noise and make it less grindy feeling?
