I did end up speaking with Reuben, who kindly answered all of my questions. After speaking with them, I have no concerns about the quality of their rods and ended up placing an order for a Helium rod in addition to the KLX. I’ll be sure to update after putting them to use!

Got super excited when I found a KLX for around $160.00, so I started researching these rods and found some people saying they use foreign blanks now. Is this true and have they declined in quality in recent years? This would be a spinning setup for finesse and senkos. I would much rather buy something made locally here in Texas, just wanting to make sure it’s still quality.

That makes a lot of sense, I was having a tough time finding any rods over 7’. I ended up just ordering a Stradic reel because the shipping on the rod killed the savings compared to TW

Just learned from this forum that you can order from sites like Digitaka at much better prices than any US store. My question is how do you make sure you are buying the correct piece of equipment? The model numbers don't seem to match with the Shimano website or Tackle Warehouse. I'm wanting to get either an Expride B or Poison Adrena in a 7'2" MHF for jigs and plastics. I have found models that I think might be close to what I'm looking for, but just want to be sure when spending this much money.

Currently searching for a used Xpress Hyperlift and my wallet is telling me to go for a used 17’. Would I regret the decision to go with the 17’ and not a larger size?
