  1. I'm back. So the spindles on the GSC handle measure out to 4mm diameter. I think I'll going hunt down some decent Daiwa knobs. Thanks for the help everyone.
  2. The Studio Composites look like something I'd go for. In the mean time I went ahead and ordered a Gomexus handle. I figured I have other reels so if it doesn't fit the GSC I can toss it on to one of those. I need to find a tool to measure the GSC handle spindles. I didn't think that I'd need to. But I guess this is a unique handle. I appreciate everyone for providing some much needed insight. I'll return to this post as soon as I measure the spindles.
  3. I bought some EVA knobs a while back for my Revo EXD, and I really wish I could find more of these. https://ebay.us/m/2hKYNv I'm also not a fan of flat knobs and I like my knobs to be longer for the handle catch because I swear these hands are lost and confused when it matters. It makes it a little easier for me to find my handle when I'm trying to watch the water on the hook set.
  4. Thanks everyone for the help. I had read a post on the Gekkabijin about the Ray's spools but I wasn't able to buy it so I made my own post. I didn't think I would even be able to find a ray studio spool for this reel since AliExpress is bugging. I'll have to look in to these spools from Ukraine as well. That Coronet mini is awesome.
  5. That's an interesting suggestion and I'm not knocking it. But I'm looking for a different shaped knob entirely.
  6. I've been struggling to find something to replace these knobs with. I just picked one of the SEVIIN GSC baitcaster's up about 2 months ago and I've enjoyed the reel for the most part. But I can't get passed the feel of these knobs. They seem very tacky after just 6 trips. I keep my reels very clean so I don't think it is due to neglect. Does anyone have an idea for replacement knobs. I don't know what fits the SEVIIN line up.
  7. I've been using a Daiwa 21 GEKKABIJIN AIR tw pe special, since I could get my hands on one. Unfortunately I've had to move do to work related reason. There isn't a creek or stream in less than a $50 gas trip for me.. I still do these trips occasionally, but I've decided to research optional spool swaps after a friend had suggested that I try a different spools. I'm unsure if this is even possible for a reel that specializes in 1 field. So far I've learned that this particular reel has an interchangeable spool with the Alphas air tw, and I know there are a variety of spools for that model but I am not savvy with spool capability. I'm simply looking for a deeper spool than the original Gekkabijin spool to do some experimenting. Attempting to up the line capacity by a couple lbs, bring the Gekkabijin into a slightly higher tier of fishing and I'll go from there. There are a lot of rivers and large ponds in my area and I'm just trying to see what is possible.
