After much research, I think I have decided on a new set up. Please let me know what you think. I want a set up for freshwater fishing from my Hobie kayak for trout. I will be using a Rapala lure and trolling. I am a 5’4” woman, fishing for fun. considering a Bass Pro Shops Fish Eagle Spinning Rod medium, either 6’ or 6’6” with a Daiwa Regal LT Spinning Reel 6.2 T handle 2500. Opinions and advice are appreciated.

Hi, I am overwhelmed with what to get for lake trout fishing while trolling on my kayak. I am not a great fisherwoman, just fish for fun. I like to use Rappala lures for trolling. A good budget friendly ( not cheap) option please. Considering an Uglystik Elite with a Pflugger Presidente. Thank you for your advice.
