thanks for all of your guys help.i got a loongze bfs reel and my buddy who resizes rods make my great huntsman a 7'2 it has been working great for casting 2 gram baits around 20-30 yards which is all I need,perfect for big small mouth but still usable it creeks just fine.I also have an aldebaran bfs on a 7'10 medium light for scoping during my tournaments instead of my spinning rod,its extremely light so flicking and shaking feels the same.I do still keep my 1500 vanquish on a 7'6 medium for wacky rigging and weightless panoramas.Thanks!

I have got a kingdom micro monster on a UL 5'9 bfs rod and I was wondering how I can get better casting distance when I fish lakes.any tips?

those ambassadors are super clean but I am using the HLC for standered jig and light swim baits fishing and it seems to work great for it,I'm taking it to Medina lake this weekend to test the drag if you know what I mean

I got a 2015-2016 daiwa zillion HLC paired up on a megabass destroyer 7 foot medium heavy,to keep it short and simple it feels so nice like if the way a custom rod feels compared to a normal one but with a reel,its insanely good

Hello everyone i got my hands on the reel earlier and i took it to a local reel shop to get it even more tunes and have the bearings immediately replaced to ceramic and WOW this thing flies. I can bomb lures across my fairly large pond and i dont know what you guys mean "it wont cant 1/4 very well" cause i managed to cast 1/4 just as good as 1/2 and even 1 oz. even before i took it to the shop. Thanks so much for your guys help and i do not need anyone to reply on this post further unless you want to, to share your wisdom and experience with the same or similar reel (i am always open to more information).Thank you!!

Thats good to know and I will look into that mod,do you know where I could go to get one of those plastics washers to keep the main parts of the spool mostly stock instead of putting a entirely new spool in the reel due to expenses.If I pair the reel on a 7 foot medium heavy rod rated for 1/4 to 1.5oz could I get away with throwing 1/4 oz?,I'm running 40 pound braid and using the reel for jig and swimbait/glidebaits fishing and a few of my jigs are under the 1/2 oz range.thanks!

I have ordered a Daiwa zillion TW HLC 1514SH in the 7:3:1 gear ratio,it is arriving today but I would like to know more information on it if any of y'all have one or experience with the older zillions,the model I ordered was made only in japan from 2015-2016 and is the hyper long cast edition (HLC) of the zillion,I have heard there is 4x less breaking force for bombing 1/4 oz to 1 oz jigs and baits but that's really it,it's got a light weight spool for super high rpm when casting.Please message me if you have any info or reply to this post.Thanks!
