  1. Thanks Flukeflicker, We went, and had a great time. The first day out we had a triple play. 3 fish at once, all on the same type of lure, all keepers a walleye, a crappie, and a largemouth bass. We had similar luck the rest of the week as well. We caught mostly crappie trolling, but also walleye, largemouth and white bass. Believe it or not we also caught a catfish on the troll. We had a big fish fry on Thursday night. The weather was nice, aside from a little wind. As soon as we got packed to leave on Saturday, it started raining. Go figure. We'll be back next spring. Thanks again, and good luck!
  2. Hello all you excellent fisherpeople! As the title might suggest, my 4 brothers and I will be converging on Stockton Lake on the 11th of May for our annual fishing trip. One bro is from Mississippi, one from Arkansas, and three from Colorado. This will be our first time at Stockton. Previously, we were going to Norfork lake in Arkansas. Someone stole all the gear off my boat there one night. We wont be back. Everyone in MO says Stockton is the place to go. We have a big group site at the State Park, West side, by the marina, for a week. We have two nice boats and two slips. I just ordered a "Hotspots" map for the lake. It should be here before I head south. I would appreciate some suggestions of where we should go from the park marina to catch walleye (first choice) or any other good eating fish. Also, bait, rigging, tackle and technique tips would be much appreciated. We still have a little more than a week to round up gear before we head for the lake. Thank you all in advance for your help!
