  1. For me a big snakehead is anywhere between 15-20lbs and they fight absolutely crazy so really I need spinnerbaits that will prevent me from losing big fish. They death roll like crazy and when they bend out a Spinnerbait they can often get off even with stinger hooks. Even small snakeheads like 3-4lbs will completely wreck most spinnerbaits but you are still able to land the fish. Once they start getting big you lose that comfortability.
  2. Yeah I’ve heard about the terminator but they stopped making them. I might have to hop on eBay for some. And for the second part yeah frogs and bladed jigs are great baits but it’s a different application. That’s like saying I’m looking for swim jigs and someone suggests a square bill because they catch fish- yeah it’s a good bait but it’s for different stuff.
  3. I’ve found that inline spinners and blades jugs just don’t have as much drawing power for bringing snakeheads deep out of pads
  4. Here is a picture of what usually happens after a snakehead for reference Perfect thank you!
  5. I have not seen this before thank you! I have almost every size of split ring aswell as braid of course. What do you think works better?
  6. Can you elaborate what you mean by base or wire tie? Thanks.
  7. The highest he goes up to is 0.40 wire diameter which hasn’t worked for me.
  8. Hey fellas I’m a snakehead angler on the Potomac river and one of my favorite ways to target them is using spinnerbait. My problem is that when snakeheads start to get big they will absolutely destroy all spinnerbaits. I’ve been experimenting with brands and models and none have worked well for me yet. Does anybody where I can get bass sized spinnerbaits with extremely heavy gauge wire? I also need to be able to get it in ordinary bass sized like 1/2oz. And no I do not want to throw bladed jigs so nobody recommend that.
