i was talking to a guy over the week end at a lake and we were talking about his gunnel screw on rod holders they looked galv. , there the kind you pull stright up when the fish is on to release the pole almost reminds me of a clam shell design (sorta) , he told me of a web site be i forgot it would any one know of any good website , not dicks or cabelas they don't have them ......thanks
drilling out might be the way to go but but the boats seen it's better days, i did fill up the boat and found droplets and did circle them , now i want to just clean off the surface and cover those areas with that type of silicone.
i bought this jon boat and i coverd all rivit heads and patches that the other guy did with a hard epoxy plus there are a few small leaks, now a friend was say on an aluminum boat (maybe .030 thick) the epoxy will crack due to the fexing of the aluminum , he also said to use aquerium silicon and cover those same areas basiclly if you can use it in a fish tank why not a boat. what do you think?
another question.... i have a minkota endura 55 and for that model it states is for a 2005 made year ,i bought mine 1 month ago ,it should be ok... right??
i have a minkota 55 lb. thrust (transom) , iv been looking on line for props is there a certain kind i should be looking for other than ordering from minkota .
