How much do you think this bass weighed?
yes we did release it..we figured it has good genes..so hopefully itll spawn some more bass tht can grow that big. But the reason whyit broke the line was it was covered in weeds..so im guessing the weeds made it fairly heavy..and we used a cheapo scale and it was just barely 5 pounds..maybe just short..so u guys r good guessers lol. but this fish was amazing just becasue the way we caught it..the rubber worm we didnt give any movement..and how the one friend jumped in the lake to hand reel it in

How much do you think this bass weighed?
ok so me and my two buddies where fishing in a lake in one of my buddies back yard. We live in ohio. This lakeis a very nice size lake for a backyard. So one of my friends casted his line out, then heard my other friend needed help wih his pole..so he put his pole down and put the line so it could release from the pole freely. Im over by the kid that needs help..then i see the pole on the ground is jumping all over the place...i go over and set the hook..and i reel in for about 15 mins (seemed like 2 hours) I get it to about 4 feet offshore..and the line snaps. Good thing the fish was in seeweed because one of my friends acttually jumped in the lake and hand reeled this fish to shore. (BTW we caught it on a weedless worm with 15 pound test) here are a view pics i know that this may not seem to be a big bass to some of you..but its an ohio bass..and we are all only 15 years old

Carolina Rig Tips
hello..i am a beginner bass fisherman..normally i only use a weightless berkley powerbait/gulp sinking minnow, occasional crankbait, and night fishing a frog jitterbug. I go in my friend's lake its about an acre..but we only go on the shore..can you use the c-rig on shore..and what r some good hints for shoreline crigging..and would the c-rig work well with the berkley powerworm and gulp sinking minnow? thanks for any help
