OK---Greetingd (again) from Buzzard
In this forum Buzzad--just call me Buzz 8-) I live in a little country town about 50 miles south of Houston---Jones Creek. I am 67 :-?years old and cut my teeth on Large mouth bass fishing in local ponds when I was about 10 years old. 8-)Most of my fishing now is done in salt water ( I live about 2 miles fron the Bernard River boat ramp, In my opinion is the prettest river in the world ( when its clear). We fish for redfish, flounder and specks just like you do for bass. My hobbies ---besides fishing are metal detecting ( am secretary of the local MD club) and MOTORCYCLE RIDING. G-ma and I just bought an 06 Yamaha Royal Star 1300. But the real loves of my life are my Kids ---grand kids ---AND our new Great grandson ;D AIDAN. am A RETIRED pipefitter. Have been retired for almost 14 years. I own an 18' center console sem-v alum boat (BEATS WORKING). I am going to get back into some serious fishing this fall when the flounder run.and pull old "beats working " to Somerville Lake in search of some large mouth or white bass. Hope to get to know all of yall. ---Buzz

Greetings guys (and gals)
Just found yall. Yall---can you tell im from Texas??? First of all I wanted to run a question by you. Went to a garage sale the other day.--picked up 2 rods and reels for $10 eadh. Rods are like new One is a Falcon Lowrider--6'6" the other Allstar 7'0"845 SP. Rods are like new. The reels are Shamino CU200Bs They had been negelected (cry) One cleaned up pretty good and probably just needs cleaning and maybe new bearings. I will have this done The other has a broken side plate--the side that comes off when you take the spool out. Other than that it seems to be pretty smooth ( Im sure it need bearings too) Question is do yall think it would be cost prohibitive to have the second one fixed??????--tight lines all (I WILL fill out my profile)------Buzz
