Believe it or not...Jimmy Houston used Zebco 33's up until he qualified for the Classic. His dad bought him 2 Abu Garcia baitcasting reels and told him he had better start learning to use them because he was not going to let him fish the Classic with spincast reels. It is kinda like your first car, some of us just drive them a little longer than others before we move up. Nothing wrong with that. 8-)

I know a lot of people buy inexpensive sunglasses because we lose them, break them or have someone else remove them from the truck/boat without our knowing. A cheap pair of glasses can do serious damage to your eyes. They may protect them from UV rays but the optics will be sooo bad that you may find yourself needing regular glasses sooner than expected. A couple of guys mentioned Costa Del Mar which is what I use. If you spend a little extra to get the 580 lens, the weight will be much lighter than their other glass lens. They also have amazing clarity and are endorsed by lots of optometrist. Anyway, optics should play as big of a part in decision to buy as polarization, UV protection and overall weight. 8-)
