Hey folks,

Here's an exclusive video from Mike Iaconelli where he not only debunks common myths about finesse fishing, but he also dishes out some great advice about spinning gear!

Excellent article! Thanks. I wish I had a nickle for all the similar arguments I've had over finesse fishing.

You can acutally "finesse" fish a 10" worm! :)

One evening i had a 13'' pickerel try to eat a 12'' shad culprit worm. Luckily he bit exactly were the hook was in the head. This was my first fish on a worm that big. I have used 6'' plastic worms since the early 70's.

Awesome video.

There was a time when I just had one spinning rig for bass fishing, now I have four and use them as much as my baitcasters. Braided line, FC line, and a huge improvement in spinning gear has made a big difference for us and opened up techniques that old spinning reels and monofilament used to prohibit. I still remember stringing up my spinning rig with 20# Gorilla Braid for the first time. That was a real game-changer.
