Has anyone else noticed how much flex there is when using a reel made of graphite with a rod with a suspended reel seat.specifically my pfluegger president on a lightning rod shock.I want to get another president but if its going to flex that much on most rods i think i will have to go with something aluminum instead.

All rod blanks eventually flex down into the handle and this is more noticeable with the split reel seats. There's no cause for alarm. The President is a great bang for the buck in spinning reels.
