nevermind they're fake. I'd rather spend 15 bucks on one real one than 12 on 2 fake ones

What happened ? How did you find out they were fakes ?

I looked at them closer, and my first post was a typo, they weren't nib. I also googled the seller's name and everywhere on other forums they said they were fake. Atleast I didn't pay for them yet. His name was Hootcrazed.

that is why i NEVER buy anything from ebay. you never know what you are gonna get.

hootcrazed is WELL known for selling bogus "real" baits...  I got a bunch of "rapalas" (20 of them for 99 cents, not from hootcrazed)  While they work ok, they don't suspend at all, and they are very fragile.  I bumped one on a dock the first time using one and it cracked in half.

Yeah I did this a while back and posted about them to make sure but of course this was after I got excited and bid on them and won about 4 for only a penny. It them came out to 30 dollars shipping because he wouldn't combine so I googled them and found out it's fake. So I never payed and don't use ebay anymore.

For those that aren't buying on eBay or quit because of a bad experience, you're missing out. If you just check their feedback and do a quick google search you can easily weed out most fakes. I'm not saying you'll never get ripped off, even though I never have, I would have to say the positives outweigh the negatives with eBay.

that's what I do on ebay... read the feedback, most people that are looking for lc baits vs. some cheap knockoff will know the difference right away once they come.  I've had some good deals, I got 10 poppers for 1 dollar, and 20 cranks for 1 dollar.  Like I said, they're just genereic baits.  I see no difference between the poppers when compared to expensive baits.  The crankbaits have great action, when reeling in the action is no different than more expensive ones.  They just don't suspend.  So I don't use them often, i'll throw on a rapala instead.

i agree with thad. do a little homework, feedback, etc...ebay is sweet if you can use it properly. the best deal i ever got was 12 lucky crafts for $20. they werent even listed as lucky craft. the title just said fishing lures. ;D

Ditto, plus you have to be aware of shipping.

Some guys will sell a used $300 combo for 150, but charge $50 for shipping. Just be patient and the deals will present themselves.

And don't bid on anything until you get a good idea on what they might be worth. Last Dec. I got a G.Loomis Spinnerbait rod w/ a Revo S in mint cond. for $125 plus $10 for shipping. Just be patient, and research first, and the deals will come.
