sure are expensive for a spinner without a nice paintjob. especially their finesse spinners, just seems like detail would get a little more attention. any opinions?

the cost is for the good components. I don't think I've ever seen one run crooked or get damaged. The blades spin very easily. The screaming eagles are great baits.

I don't know why but there my #1 producing spinnerbait.

Hands down the best spinnerbait I've ever used, it runs straight, cast great (esp the screaming eagles), skirts are hand tied with wire, and they will last!

I was at anglers marine looking at those today..and yep kinda spendy...so I bought some Northland spinnerbaits at long fin instead, swapped out the skirts, and an good to go..adds up to less than 6.00 per bait...and they are by far the killer bait..

BTW, you want spendy spinnerbaits..? have a look at the river2sea ones..

thats nothing in the spendy dept, lucky craft makes one spendy spinner....at under $6 I dont think the War Eagle are expensive at all, hell a bag of yamaplastics cost more than that!

Used a 1/4 oz version down at Wheeler recently and caught upwards of 30-40 fish on one bait. It was stretched, bent, pulled and twisted, but never broke. I'll spend the little extra.

The only spinnerbait I own and trust.

As all the others have said, they are the best on the market.  They don't need fancy heads and paint jobs because they just flat out catch fish.  Plus they are made right here in the US of A

I love these spinnerbaits, they aren't as fancy looking as some, but hold up great, run true and have great components. I also have Strike King, Terminator, and Booyah's too, but always tie a Screaming Eagle on if it's windy, or a Finnesse when the bite gets tough. I did buy some Rattleback spinnerbaits, but am waiting till spring to throw them.

I just can't stomach the "War Eagle" for some reason. A quick glance at my signature and you will know.
