I Won A $1,000 Wal-Mart Gift Card?

Featured Replies

I received a text message on my cell phone today that I have won a $1,000 Wal-Mart gift card.

Don't know how I did that so I am wondering if this is a scam.

Has anyone out there received such a text?

I do not want to answer it until I get some data.

Thanks in advance for your input.

It has been on several news reports that this is a scam. Especially if the link included is a "walmart.com". Walmart's url isn't Walmart.com. All a scam.

It would be sweet if it was real and your walmarts one of the lucky ones that carries falcon rods, abu reels and rods, tungsten weights and all the other goodies they got

yes it is

http://www.walmart.com/

It's not a scam...they just need your SS#, DOB, address, and your checking/savings account numbers in order to process your prize. Respond with all that info and I'm sure they'll send your gift card right away.

I'm got my fifth text today about that. My credit is so bad right now I'm tempted to respond just to infuriate them. I can hear it now. "All that work and we get this?", "Maybe we should send HIM some money."
