Im from upstate South Carolina, on lake Keowee, where the bass have already moved off the bed. Ive tried using Albino super flukes with no luck, also Ive used a few different colors of finesse worms. Any suggestions?

Try fishing a 5" senko weightless around cover

I couldn't get a bite on flukes this weekend either. I pitched worms to cover until I found some bait fish.

If your fish haven't transitioned from post-spawn to a summer pattern, concentrate some effort of deeper water adjacent to spawning areas just like you would during pre-spawn. I would try things like T/rigged Craws or Lobsters, big worms like a Thumper and big jigs/craw trailer. The fish (post-spawn) are taking a breather and want a meal. You just need to present that meal where they are.

Alternatively, you could beat the banks fishing shallow with something like a senko or space monkey with very little weight and should have a hayday with the buck males.

I like a C-rig lizard, spinners, and spoons this time of year, if they are fresh off the beds.

The good thing is, if you can find the males the females really are not too far away, usually in the flats that have a good bait fish point of travel.

If the flats are relitively shallow, less than 15 feet, I like the C-rig and the spinner, any deeper I like the spoon.

White-ice fluke thrown into or around cover it was one of my "secrets" so now the word is out. Weightless on a 2ft leader.

I fished a tournament where the pattern was suspended post spawn bass. I caught a limit throwing a KVD 1.5 crankbait up on the shore and cranking it straight back to the boat ripping it right through those suspended bass holding on structure. I would make long casts and vary my angles but the casts were always perpendicular to the bank. The tournament however was won by catching a couple females that were holding to tree stumps in the deeper water near the spawning areas. That gentlemen was ripping a crankbait through the stumps and hooking up with some nice ones.
