Think Ive Discovered My New Fave Jig Trailer

Featured Replies

Years ago I bought a 100ct bag of Berkley Sabertail Bugs on EBay,marketed as "Factory Seconds." I had forgotten all about having these until I stumbled upon them last week. I personally don't see a single thing wrong with them. Maybe the color isn't exactly how its supposed to be but the shape of the bait and all that looks good.Just for giggles,I rigged one up on a Jig as a trailer. Action is great on the fall, and the "Sabertails"(claws) float up nicely. Anyone else ever use these as a jig trailer?

i have used the white ones on the back of a swim jig, but i prefer a rage craw.

I have used them, i have a couple bags, but no luck on them. They do look good as a trailer tho.

I have used the color "breen" (mostly green with a brown tint) 4" t-rigged with moderate success. I will have to trim one and use it as a trailer.
