Reel Question

Featured Replies

What is a good reel for flipping and pitching along with frogs. I have a rod picked out but want some input on the reel. Looking to really get into fisihing some weed beds this summer. I use a Chronarch 200E6 for my main setup.

Thanks!

Flipping and pitching don't require anything other than a strong frame and powerful drag. High speed is a nice to have, but not critical. The Chronarch you have would be great.

I agree with J and yourself, get the Chronarch. I just picked one up and love it. Only advice would be to get the E7.

Thanks for the input. I love my Chronarch and was thinking about getting the E7 also. What about the Curado 200E7? Much difference in performance? I see they are a little less expensive.

Same reel. Small differences like anodized spool and handle, knobs are slightly different, the drag washer below the main gear is carbon fiber, and the obvious paint job. Nothing performance wise.
