Got Another!!! Soon Its Gonna Feel Normal!

Featured Replies

So I went fishing two days more this week. On the first day, I was on the lake at 8:15 am and I could see a lot of bass around. The levels were decreasing which is a great indicator of violent fish here as far as I know. Right as I was tying a senko and a spinnerbait in my two rods I heard splashes behind me. It was bass flushing bait fish like 5 feet from me. It was 3 young 14 inchers. I went and cast my senko right in their faces and they completely ignored it. and moved to the left patrolling the shore. I picked my kvd spinnerbait and I casted like 30 feet from them and started reeling in. bam one of them got into it and I was a happy man.

why does this fish has spots that you cant see(almost)? vs my first one in my avatar that has them and they really pop?

second day the levels went up and the fish werent biting as much and were in much deeper water. fishing from shore was tough. i could see small packs of 3 bass together but not as much activity as the day before.

ohh almost forgot there was a huge bulge of water moving while I was fishing with a popper but I couldnt get a bite. :( i also saw a bass and i was using the popper and she went to investigate but once again no bite. what Im doing wrong?

Good job! Keep at it!

I would have to say the color of and spots on bass have to do with their environment as well as water clarity.
