Thinking about purchasing a G 3 model 175. Any yeahs or nays appreciated.

Boat is an 2009 witha a 50 hp suzuki eng.

I have a 2000 G3 Pro 185 Bass Boat with a Yamaha 90 and it has been a fabulous boat. 12 years and zero problems.

I did end up buying a 2005 G3 model 165 with a 40hp Yamaha. Might be under powered but will keep me out of trouble. Boat is very stable for this old man and gives a nice ride. Bought this boat and sold my other boat in less than 24 hr period. Just lucky I guess.

i have a 2002 pf 175 i converted to a bass layout. i think it is a little smaller beam than a true bass model. my 50 yammy 2-stroke gets me up to 34mph solo 33 2-up and around 31 3-up(all full gear and tank). with just me it will plain up insanely quick.

when i did my conversotion i took it down to a bare hull. g3s are built like tanks. i believe the model your looking at has a all metal transom.

owning this one has made me very yamaha/g3 loyal.
