Dillard Leads Northern Open Bass Fishing Tournament On James River

Glenn, a Louisiana boy goes north and masters the historic James River.

A 17pound bag on the James/Chickahominy River system is outstanding.

I hope he continues his good fortune for today and tomorrow.

I will be working the tournament today which is a great time. You get to meet the pros and others fishing the tournament and they will talk with you and take a picture with you.

I thought Ike would be here since his wife is from a Richmond surburb but he did not make it. Ike is a wonderful ambassador for bass fishing and if you ever met him you he will treat you like a long lost friend.

On a down note, four of my friends fishing the tournament did not do well. Two are masters of the James and have fished the river system for many years.
