osprey swimbaits

Featured Replies

does anyone use 4in. osprey inline tournament talon's, if so,does the smaller size affect the swimming action?

i don't use the 4'' talon , but used to use the 7'' one and i like the longer baits cause they get more body movement than the 4''and 5'' ones that are more stubby and just have the boot tail swimming . they are good fish catching baits , after seeing this post , i'm gonna have to replace the 7'' osprey that i cast off and pick up some of the 6'' ones also, so try the 6'' or 7'' baits and in my own opinion , stay with the "full" body Ospreys , better swimming action than the flat top ones .... ;)

also wanted to mention , try the shad , silver shad , and baitfish colors ( that is if you have shad in your fishing spots ) they flat out catch fish !!!!  ;)

The smaller size does not affect the action at all it swims identically to the larger models. It has great tail action and a subtle side to side rock from the body.
