Thanks for all the wonderful replies...... I'm very lucky to have a great boy like him! That pond is a 5 minute walk from our front door, and we are so lucky to live near so many great fishing spots.

My thoughts exactly

That's a beautiful bass. That's a neat place to fish. I wish there's lily pads around where I fish. Theres none around here. It sucks. I want to come there. :)

Beautiful fish man and amazing spot!

I don't really know of any spots around me with a lot of Lilly pads. Back in NJ it seemed like every pond has Lillys in em.

Did you guys get a chance to weigh the beast?

nice catch!!!!!! :respect-059:

We didn't weigh it but I would estimate 4-5lbs. I'll try to get a good picture of the pond tonight and post it. It's not very big or deep but it holds tons of bass, and some really nice ones. My biggest was 7lbs about 2-3 years ago from this pond and a 8.75lb bass from a pond just beind this one.

Yea man that pond looks like it holds some pretty big bass in it. I need to find me one like that

Here are a few pictures of the pond....... It's not big or deep but it's full of big fish :eyebrows: It's about 400 yards long and 150-175 yards wide, and 4 feet deep on average with a few spots as deep as 8 feet.

Anytime....... Really.

thats a great catch.

that's also a great little pond.

It'd be fun to put a small tin boat in with a trolling motor and zip around catching fish like that!

Man that pond looks amazing! Definitely holds some big ass fish in there. Only thing missing is some trees on the water other than that it looks like bass heaven

Fantastic photo and Fish... Congratulations to your Son ;)

Tell your son- Great Bass!

I'm loving that pond, too. Looks just like the ones I fish out of my canoe, down the road a piece in Rhode Island.
