tube rigging

Featured Replies

I use a tube weighted hook and put it up through the bottom of the tube.  Poke the eyelet out of the side of the tube and tie on.  If I'm fishing heavy vegitation I'll try and skin hook the tip so it's weedless.

It depends.........If I have a lot of rip-rap or rocky structure, I will rig a tube with a jighead and the hook exposed........If I am fishing grass, moss, hydrilla, etc............I will T-rig................. ;D

Right on !

For river smallies I use from 1/8 - 3/8 lead heads. I always insert a rattle. When flippin heavy wood or grass for largemouth I usually use a 1/8 or 1/4 bullet wt and most of the time a 3/0 or 4/0 G Lock Gammy Hook.

T-rig or carolina rig, rattle, 4/0 Gammy hook, and dip the tenticles in some red garlic dip-n-glo.
