How's The Flippin' And Pitchin' In The Northeast ?

Featured Replies

So far in Ct it even though the pads and weeds are filling in, the fishing seems really slow. I look forward to this time of the year to beaking out the baitcasting gear and start throwing brush hogs and tubes into the weeds. The water seems cold still!

How has it been in some of the nieghboring states and the rest of Ct?

I've been fishing shore but I've been throwing into heavy cover of pads/milfoil and crap but I got a couple last week running weedless worms along the pads. Had to wrestle a couple out of the pads because they were fighting to go down low. But that's the only action I've seen has been in the pad cover. When I get to the outside of the pads I'll drop it right off the end pad and let it sink, work it a couple times then reel it in.
