Anyone Have Any Luck In Southern Nh Yet? (4/6/12)
Fishing George's pond in grafton tonight. I took a small preview mid day and there is a tiny launch with hardly any shore access so I'll wade around. I've heard good things so we shall see.

The wife and I are going on our honeymoon to Maine the first week of July. I'm looking for some good productive ponds or lakes for bass. Around or near Portland. We'll need some type of shore access. Any help would be great. Thanks

Hey guys long time. Took a couple weeks off and just moved over to Boscawen. Walker lake/pond is close. Also a small pond off elm st, and a larger pond/lake next to a wildlife preserve. Cant find the names of these places. Anyone ever try them? One more I see is pillsbury lake. Any info helps. Thanks

Yea I hate that. I fish late till 8:30 or so when it starts to get dark and I'm right on the shoreline in little walk down spots along my pond. The noises I hear freak me out. I had goundhogs/rats/something small running around me as I was fishing /going back to the car. I startle easy haha

Yup. It's been so consistent there lately, where I'll go from 6-8 and get 4 fish. (walking around switching spots takes up a bit of time. Found another spot today. I may fish the other side of the pond tomorrow to see what it's like.

So tonight, I went back to the pond that's got active fish. Proud to say I have my new PB a 4lber I got right after sunset. Encouraging to see bigger fish than the 1-2lbers I've been catching. and a little video I took on my cell phone. He was trying to hide

Horseshoe Pond Tonight. Any Tips?
Nothing, there was a group of 10 non english speaking people with 6 kids fishing for bluegills. Kids throwing stuff in the water. Screaming running around..After an hour I decided to to my the NHTI pond (guaranteed action as of late) got 4 including my new PB 4lber just after dark. Nice to know there are bigger fish than 1-2lbers in there. I'll try it again but later on in the evening around 7pm or so or first thing in the AM

Some bass I've caught at NHTI Pond in Concord.

Horseshoe Pond Tonight. Any Tips?
I saw them there the other night, like I said got a couple of hits with frogs but the amount of pads and vegetation is so much that it can be tough to get a plastic to the bottom. that's what's been working for mefor the last month. I'll Throw a pad crasher out tonight and work him in between the pads slowly and see how it goes. I shall let you know Nev, if it sucks I'll go back over to NHTI and get 1 or 2 small ones to make the effort worth while.

Looking For New Ways To Fish Plastics For Largemouth
I've only heard of drop shotting. How is it for weeded areas because I have shore access only and sometimes the cover is pretty thick

Horseshoe Pond Tonight. Any Tips?
Heading there tonight in hopes of getting a slob (or at least something bigger than 2lbs) I went there for a short spell the other night and parked down at the dead end. and there is a path that seperates 2 parts of the pond. Of course it's got a crapload of lilypads. Since I"ve been slaying with soft plastics as of late. Any ideas on how I can make these hogs bite, they were slow as hell chasing after my ragetail toad the other night. Any advice on this pond is greatly appreciated.

Looking For New Ways To Fish Plastics For Largemouth
A little backstory Grew up on the ocean, fished I disagree off as a kid and teen, never had a lot of great freshwater fishing spots. So now that I'm older I've moved to New Hampshire while the fishing here from the shore isn't easy I have a couple ponds that I go to for bassin' . All ponds I fish have a decent amount of lilypads, milfoil, downed trees, etc. I can reach this cover from the shore easily. My Arsenal: I've caught EVERY bass since early june on rubber worms (Mostly Senko 5") started using a Havoc 8" juice worm (while it's lighter than the senko's having trouble getting it to sink faster/cast farther. Fishing them slowly, let it drop, bring it up and let it fall. I have tried some topwater frogs (Stanley Ribbitt, Boo-yah Pad crasher, Ragetail toad) but even with the really thick padded area. Getting a few swipes but not hooking up. (don't use any crankbaits because there is too many weeds out there) How else can I present my soft baits in these areas. Regular shoreline and super weeded areas? Trying to get my plastics to drop down better between the pad openings or at least find a different way to fish. Any details, ideas or reccomendations would be greatly appreciated.
