Iphone Question

Featured Replies

The hoops you have to jump through with the itunes store to get YOUR media is a joke.

Hmm, when I got my first iPhone I loaded itunes on my computer and told it to search for songs. It found all of my mp3s and put them all in my itunes library. The only possible way it could have been easier is for it to automatically do it without me prompting.

Plus the "new" iPhone every 6months is annoying to me. Granted a large number of people love Apple and their products.

iPhones refresh yearly which is the exact same schedule as most other phones. Why would a refresh be annoying to you?

Thinking about pruchasing an iPhone.

Read where the new edition will be released this fall.

1. What are your experiences with iPhones.

2. Do you suggest another brand that you like better than the iPhone?

3. Do you think I need to wait for the updated version to be released?

Thanks in advance for your feedback.

I'm on my second iPhone and don't see myself ever getting anything else. If you want a phone that works well right out of the box and you don't want to endlessly tinker with it to get it setup then get an iphone. I understand why the Droid people love their phones but I have no desire to change my signal bars to the Monster logo or the carrier to my kids names or pixelate the page switch. I just want the phone to work. And yes, I think you should wait if you can. If you dont' want the new features then the old version will be cheaper.

I was under the impression that the say 3g and 3gs were different phones from the same year. However I don't follow Apple that much.

Nope. Different years. iPhones typically have a major refresh every two years and then on the off years have a minor refresh. 3g was one year 3gs (minor refresh) was the next then the 4 then the 4s and this year will be the X.

Have u tried loading ur itunes songs on a non apple product? I had to burn a cd then rip it back.Itunes would not work with my mp3 player or android phone.

..Also they require your credit card info to use a store bought itunes gift card...Why in the heck do they need ur credit card for something you've already paid for????

Go Driod with 4G service, not stuck using what Apple allows you to use on your own property and the 4G service is extremely fast.

4G is only fast if they offer it where you live. If you don't live in an area with 4G service then getting a phone with 4G is a waste of money and a waste of battery.

Well that makes more sense then. I will give apple this and only this. At least they have one product that they stick with. Some of the other smartphone manufactures would do well to follow suit. Nothing worse then buying a phone, and then having it discontinued three months later. If I was sovested in droid phones, I might look at one. However, at this juncture apple can't compete with my droid and its functionality. Having 4g is a plus for me too.
