New to the forum and wanted to ask a question. I plan on getting a new rod and reel. I am going to get the powell diesel 7'2" MH 723 CEF. I am mainly ging to be using this for T-Rigs. Need a nice reel for it. Anyone have any suggestions. What about the daiwa laguna 7.1.1 Other reel choices are the daiwa aird, daiwa exceller, and the daiwa megaforce. Would like the laguna if its good. Also how is the rod anybody use it?

    Put a BPS Pro Qualifier 7.1.1 on that rod, and you will have a nice worm/jig rod. The length and weight are perfect for your intended use IMO.
