  1. I picked up the Bass Pro Enticer medium fast combo. Anyone ever use it? Edit: I picked it up at the Spring Classic for 60.00 but its not on the website and I cant find a review on it anywhere. If its somehow discontinued is that bad or is it ok to fish with discontinued products, theres nothing wrong with them right?
  2. I need a rod for light line stuff and throwing small 1/8 oz Texas rigged worms and stuff. Would a 6"6 medium fast rod work? I was thinking if getting the pflueger Trion GX7 spinning combo. Thanks.
  3. I was thinking about getting this Abu Garcia spinning cardinal reel and berkely cherrywood rod combo. I know it's probably not that good but could I use it for light line situations. It's 6"6 M and fast. The reel is 5:1:1
  4. Has anybody used the daiwa Laguna baitcasting reel? I was thinking about getting that and the shimano sellus worm rod.
  5. I was thinking about going I get the shimano sells spinning worm rod and I'm trying to find a good spinning reel for it. What are some good reels for worm fishing that are around or under 60$
  6. If I put braid on it can i just double it as my flippin rod. I think a 7'6'' would be way to long since im pretty short. I got the medium heavy, extra fast. And it's rated 1/4 to 1 oz, so I don't see why I couldn't. Or should I just use this for TR and football jigs and stuff then get the flippin for heavy cover.
  7. I'm not worried about. You just know how everybody is today. All you hear is everythings dangerous its crazy.
  8. How dangerous are they. I'm constantly handeling them and never really think about it,
  9. \Picked up the Sellus today(worm and jig). Feels great and light can't wait to use it. I know I'm goinng to love it. Also Ill be throwing texas rigs on it so what kind of line should i use. 17lb fluoro or should i put braid on it. NOOB questions lol. What I'm trying to get at is what would be the ideal setup for this rod. (line, lures, weight, and where to fish it at...) Thanks.
  10. For the worm and jig rod(sellus) should i stick strictly to worm and jigs or is that good for anything else. \
  11. Sellus or Convergence Casting rods? y whole arsenal will probably be made up of one of these rods b/c they are technique specific and seem to be the best for the money. Also does anyone have the sellus cranking rod. For just a little more i could get the powell diesel fiberglass cranking rod.

  13. Since I'm only 15 I am on a budget. So with that bein said I have a few questions. Should i spend more on my rod or reel. Does anybody know any good rods for seventy or under(baitcasting)? Also the same for reels. I;ve been looking at the berkely lightning shock. The shimano sellus. For reels the daiwa laguna and strikeforce. Anybody use any of these. 15. I'm going on a fishing trip next weekend and I just need something to get me through. The only problem is I only have About 50 bucks. I'm looking for something I couuld throw light texas rigs and stuff. It would be a spinning rod and reel. I want something decent so I can continue using it. I'll also be catching smallies on it. I was looking at the quantum optix. Anybody use it. And I need a decent rod. Any suggestions? Thanks Also, if you know a decent combo for that price let me know.
  16. I am getting the powell diesel 7'2" Med Hvy rod. I think I'm going to get a good 7:1:1 reel. If I put 17lb fluoro on it would this setup be good for swim jigs, spinnerbaits, squarebills, lipless crankbaits, chatterbaits, and T-Rigs. Also, would I be able to use football jigs for this setup. Thanks.
  17. So, going to buy my first nice baitcast set up. My question is what type of setup should i buy first. Should I get cranking or what. My price range would probably be 150 give or take a little.

Ya you could but the thing with that is if the fih flops it could tear its gills which is almost always fatal.

Ya but cant that still damage the jaw if its a big enough fish

I just dont like the idea of poking another hole through the bass's mouth for weight. I like to keep things as simple as possible and get them in the water with best chances of survival. With that being said whats the best way to weigh a bass. I heard of puting them in a bag then hooking the handles but wouldnt that remove alot of their coat?
  21. This may sound like a dumb question, but wheres the best place to throw curly tail worms. I know you dont really want to throw them into heavy cover because the tail will wrap around things. Would the best place be around rocks? Also would you just use the same rod as you use for jigging. MH extra fast tip for example.
  22. Should I get the shimano sellus or powell diesel? Mainly for worms.
  23. Just bought a seahawk 4 inflatable boat. I'm going to mod it and stuff but need a little help. Has anyone fished out of one. What could i do to improve the floors and anything else. Thanks.
