any opinions on these? how do they compare to the vmc sure set trebles? thanks guys for the input

I think a better question would be, how do they compare against the Gamakatsu EWG's, the hook they appear to be VERY similar to.

most aftermarket hooks are better than the stock crankbaits treble hooks.  I think this upcoming spring I'm going to change out all the old hooks on my crankbaits.

Stringjam, they cannot be any worse than the EWG trebles. I had nothing but issues with those trebles on my jerkbaits. I wouldn't loose fish but they would break or bend out while trying to get them out or after swinging the fish in the boat. I know smallies have harder jaws then largies but I lost all faith in them after about 3 hours.

I recently asked a similar question about changin out trbles and i will be going with owner stinger st-36's.
