This weekend I'm going to try the drop shot on my spinning gear for the first time. I can't wait to see what happens. Also I finally bought my first chatterbait and my first swim jig so I'm not sure which one I want to fish first on my baitcater. I've been catching bass on both a normal jig and also on a spinnerbait at the place I'm going so I'm thinking of using the chatterbait. But no matter what I can't wait to try these out.

So if anyone has any tips or secrets for a first timer let me know.

I fish a swim jig thru grass and light pads. it works great if you have the patience to finesse it thru it all!

Chatterbait over top of grass in dirty or choppy water.

I typically dropshot for smallies around rockpiles and weed patches
