I'm not an ice fisherman, but I've convinced a few friends of mine to try the drop shot. They couldn't be happier. Especially since they, like me, don't favor using live bait. Roboworms or the 2 1/2" Slug-Gos are producing well.

I don't do it but that's how I would do it if I did.

something that wiggles just a bit  is great for largemouths through the ice. I agree that a drop shot rig would be perfect, even though I have not yet tried this myself. Also, try a kastmaster spoon in the ice fishing sizes. I know those work for walleye and I don't see any reason bass would shy away from them.

It's kind of hard to pick out a particular species of fish ice fishing.  I'm sure there are some ways though.
