How big does a bass have to be to survive low water and heat? I've always heard the biggest and strongest survive..

You don't have to be big to be strong, It's always a game of survival no matter the size, what does determine wether a fish lives or dies is it's instinct, both large and small fish have the same built into their dna, but in order for them to survive they have to have been exposed to that scenario in the past to have a better chance than other fish.

If the larger fish is too old to be able to cope with the surroundings it most likely will not be the one to survive either.

I think low water and heat is worse for big.fish opposed.to.smaller.fish that require less oxygen.
