I changed my impeller and gaskets and somewhere. In the job the motor popped out of frwd and is now in nuetral any help please I have a tournament this weekend! Thanks by the way its a merc black max 175what junebugman

make sure the shift linkage is hooked up properly first. I just did this on my xr6 this weekend and when finished, it was hard to go into forward or reverse. once you get it in the water and crank it, it should release the bind it's in. hope this helps.
