I was wondering if you could give me a quick review on the Abu Garcia Vendetta. I need a rod in the $100 range for flipping and pitching and to pair up with the Revo SX. Good buy?

To keep this short, it's a great rod. Get the 7'3" HXF. Great, well balanced rod.

I bought that exact model for the same application.

Have not had a chance to try it but it feels / looks very solid.

for flippin/pitchin i use the 7'6" MH plenty of backbone but still a has little tip to work the bait. Plus the lure weight goes up to 3 oz so if you want to use it for some big baits it will work there to.
