Opinion on best digital scale that can take a beating...

I just use a Rapala brand digital. Scales up to 50lbs I believe, and you can store a few entries. I keep it in my boat or bag and it doesn't really get beat up. If you're just weighing bass, I think something like I have should be good enough. There aren't too many 50lb LMB out there.......if you see anything over 10-12 thats amazing at that.

Just curious. Is the (or a) reason you're going for a digital scale so you can weigh to the tenths?

I had a digi-scale from BPS that worked great until it slipped out of my hands and down to Davey Jones Locker. Since then I've been using my econogrip spring scale (with a float) and find it to do the job very well. Although it'd be nice to see tenths, I see measurements by the 1/4 lb. The scale I'd take over any digital model is a boca... Dreaming on.

i use the berkley big game lip grip scale. havent had a problem with it. its been wet a few times and still works like a charm.

i use the digital scale from wal-mart. i believe its a Berkley one. and costs about 20$. i get a 3lb weight and measure it once a month to make sure its holding its accuracy. its been a year now with no problems what so ever. i don't know what the scale maxes out on. probably 20 lbs which is fine for me because if i caught anything near that id get so excited id probably have a heart attack before i weighed her.
