A good buddy turned me on to replacing the front hook with a red owner stinger. Although red hooks may not mean anything, it's worked for him in the past, so I'm giving it a shot this year. Confidence booster for me.

Either way, they're great hooks.

I'm getting ready to order some treble hooks for my trout swimbaits. I found this site that sells ball bearing treble hooks. Now the big bass will have allot more trouble trying to shake off any big plugs when they're jumpin for the moon 8-).
