I have a minn kota power drive trolling motor .Is there a good way to mount a tranducer to this minn kota?thanks for any advice you can give.

I just fasten them to the bottom of my TM with a radiator hose clamp.

The best installation for a trolling motor is to use a transducer that is made for that purpose.

Your issue will be cable management.

I know exactly what your challenge is. You can't just tape or fasten the cable to the motor shaft. You don't have anything special that lots of others have to deal with using that type of motor. Do you have the version 1 or version 2 motor?

I have a Powerdrive V2 , 70lb thrust. I have mine mounted to the bottom of the trolling motor and I hate it. The cables are a pain in the butt. Once I buy a new electronic I'm running my front unit to the back as well to save grief. I wouldn't recommend it unless you fish open water all the time and never venture into weeds/lily pads.
