Humpin Toad Problems

Featured Replies

I was wondering if the bass pro humping toads were good? I got a 49 piece frog kit from bass pro and they are all 4". They seem a little stiff, I mean I am going to be using 2/0 trokar hooks so i'm pretty sure that they will peirce through the frog but do you guys like them?

They suppose to be pretty good and the Strike King horny toads and i also like the Ribbit frogs also.Try a pack and i think you will like them pretty good.Tight Lines!

they rock! I use the 5/0 horny toad or swimbait hook, screw in

Yea go with a larger hook, I really did well with a round bend hook as opposed to a wide gap or EWG. You can also boil some water and dip the legs in to soften them up alittle
