Your View On The Watermelon Colors

Featured Replies

at flea market like 2 weeks ago, they had to be stolen, or well give him the benifit, but more than likely. anyway guy had a bunch of war eagle and booyah watermelon colored jigs.(still unopened) At first i thought they were green pumpkin, but they turned out to be watermelon candy and WM red, I fish stained water, so what is your opnion on these colors, what conditons do you use them. I know it is up to me to test em, but cant do it till Saturday and well just curious.

I use watermelon plastics in clear or slightly stained water. It's a translucent color for when I want a green but not solid like green pumpkin. Honestly don't know if that makes any real difference though. Never tried the jigs.

I use watermelon candy in most situations, works in my waters

thanks guys, most of my water is really stained, i figured that it would be just like a GP

i've caught just as many fish on watermelon colored baits as any other color. i don't think color matters too much unless the fish are specifically keyed in on one specific type of bait.

I fish watermelon color in water that you can't see but an inch into and have a ton of success on em. I love anything watermelon colored, my go to color.

Stained water go with a darker color like Green Pumpkin.

Clearer or sightly stained water go with watermealon.

With that being said, go out and give the jigs a test run and see what happens.

Congrats on finding a great buy.
