Lots Of Luck With Rage Tail Craw

Featured Replies

So I started using rage tail craws recently and had lots of success.. T-rigged,jig and weightless.I have been using coffee scented craws watermelon red flake and been burning them up..I do have a question though.I was curious what other stuff people have used and had good success with?

Thats such a simple and complicated question at the same time lol. There are dozens and dozens to choose from. Are you looking more specifically for a soft plastic type bait?

I have had alot of success recently with Jigs. If you like the Rage Craw you should give the Rage Tail Menace a try. I use them as a trailer for my flippin jigs mainly. The Rage Tail Anaconda (7") has produced well for me too.

Squarebill cranks are great options for fall fishing which is right around the corner. I prefer the KVD 1.5 in chart black back and Tennessee Shad. Chartreuse and or white spinnerbaits are an other great choice for fall. One of my top producing lures is a Strike Kiing Red Eye Shad.

Senkos always produce numbers for me just about all year long. I always have a bag just in case. Also, watch out for the bait monkey. Good luck!

I had some amazing luck with a SK KVD 1.5 in Chartreuse Black Back. Two very nice SM within about 10 mins of one another.

Also have had some good luck with a 3/8 oz War Eagle spinnerbait in White/Chartreuse

As for jigs, no luck. Threw out a Northstar Flip and Swim Jigs with a chunk trailer. I don't know what I am doing wrong with it. Though I may put a rage craw on it.

K thanks for the tips ..yeah I use the squarebills and senkos pretty often..I had tried the rage tails lately and had good success..wanted to get that put there so people would give them a try if they havent. I overlooked them for so long..

Starting to blow it up on spinnerbaits a lot more now. Also trying my luck on chatterbaits and will look to start swim jiggin' soon too. Usually jigs, t rigged and weightless worms and squarebills serve me well more than anything else though.
